This liability also covers any personal or corporation information or confidential material transmitted to gps-tracker-hire.co.uk. In particular, we request that you sign out of all devices at the end of the hire period and any sensitive or confidential material is fully erased from the devices before being collected or returned to the team behind gps-tracker-hire.co.uk. We will erase any material that is left on the hired devices. Whilst every care and attention is provided to ensure each leased piece of equipment is in excellent working condition, the tenant agrees to take over the leased equipment in the state in which they accept delivery. gps-tracker-hire.co.uk cannot be held responsible for any damages from interruptions such as force majeure, natural disasters, delivery, equipment failure or equipment damage. In such unlikely and unfortunate circumstances of equipment failure, we will attempt to propose a suitable alternative with replacement property for the hire period. Should you have any issues / questions when using any hired piece of equipment, we ask you contact us immediately so we can assist you.
The tenant must check on the complete and proper working condition of each device, including any accessories, upon immediate receipt of the rental delivery or order pick-up and collection. Complaints or appeals for missing items can only be claimed immediately after receipt. Subsequent later complaints are not accepted. The tenant is obliged to treat all equipment and any accessory equipment transferred and leased to them with good, considerate, proper care. The leased property must not leave the tenant, nor can it be sublet or leave the territory of the United Kingdom without written permission from gps-tracker-hire.co.uk. Our equipment is often used outside the UK, so please inform us should you wish to use the equipment overseas in advance of the start of the hire date. The leased property shall be deemed returned to us if it has been handed over to a member of staff of gps-tracker-hire.co.uk. When sending any equipment or any accessories back to us via a courier company, the leased property must be personally handed over to the agreed courier by the tenant. Should any equipment be mishandled, damaged or broken gps-tracker-hire.co.uk reserves the right to charge the Tenant for a replacement cost. Similarly, should any equipment or accessories hired (for example; devices, chargers or charging cables) be missing, damaged or broken, then gps-tracker-hire.co.uk reserves the right to charge the Tenant in full the replacement cost for that piece of equipment.
The leased equipment is not insured for damages or for loss / theft. The customer is responsible for ensuring they have suitable insurance/policy cover in place. gps-tracker-hire.co.uk can provide damage insurance if requested in advance. From the moment any equipment is delivered to the customer the tenant is liable and responsible for the leased equipment up until its return back to gps-tracker-hire.co.uk. Should gps-tracker-hire.co.uk arrange the transportation (courier) for the collection of any equipment from the customer, the tenant bears the responsibility and is liable for its safe return until it is handed over to the agreed courier collecting. The Tenant also agrees to insure or take financial responsibility for all rented equipment to a value which is not less than its whole replacement value for the whole rental period and any extensions thereafter and accepts all liability for the safe return of all rented equipment. In the event of any loss / theft the customer must inform the team at gps-tracker-hire.co.uk (in writing via email) immediately that equipment has been lost / stolen. gps-tracker-hire.co.uk has the right to charge the customer for the full replacement value including any accessories of any lost / stolen equipment. Similarly, in the event of any damages to any of the equipment, the customer must inform gps-tracker-hire.co.uk as soon as any damage has occurred and must confirm this in writing before any equipment is returned. The team at gps-tracker-hire.co.uk has the right to charge the customer for the full replacement value including any accessories of any damaged equipment. In the event of a GPS Tracker being dropped and smashed, the team at gps-tracker-hire.co.uk will contact a third-party specialist or the manufacturer to receive the cost of the GPS Tracker being fixed. Should the customer wish to take any equipment outside the UK, the customer is fully liable for any damages, loss or theft.
Orders can be made via our website, via the telephone or via email. Written confirmation in the form of an email will be sent by gps-tracker-hire.co.uk to confirm an order. Orders made via the website will need to be confirmed in writing by gps-tracker-hire.co.uk before they are guaranteed.Any email to confirm or approve a quote or confirm or approve the hire of any equipment by email is legally binding and subject to gps-tracker-hire.co.uk and our parent company JB Websites Limited Standard Terms & Conditions. gps-tracker-hire.co.uk and JB Websites Limited has the right to legally enforce the order should it wish to.Cancelling an order Orders can be cancelled or re-scheduled. However, there are guidelines for doing so. Any orders that are cancelled more than 14 (working) days in advance have no penalty. Should an order be cancelled less than 14 (working) days before a hire start date the customer will pay 33% of the total order value. Should an order be cancelled less than 7 (working) days before a hire start date the customer will pay 50% of the order total. Should an order be cancelled less than 2 (working) days before a hire start date the customer will pay 75% of the order total. However, please note we do work with our customers to find suitable solutions and we are happy to offer a credit note once the invoice has been paid in full for the equivalent order sum. We appreciate event dates can change which is why gps-tracker-hire.co.uk will offer a credit note should a change of event date take place. Please note, the original invoice must be paid in full for a credit note to be issued. The credit note can be used any time up to 18 months after the order start date.In the event of any credit default by the customer, gps-tracker-hire.co.uk has the right to withdraw from all contractual relationships and agreements with the customer without notice and without incurring any damage claims from the customer.
Full payment must be made to gps-tracker-hire.co.uk via their parent company JB Websites Limited in accordance with the payment terms in the rental agreement and / or invoice. Unless the contract expressly provides agreed payment terms, then payment shall be made immediately upon receipt of invoice. Payments are transferred to our JB Websites Limited bank account. Card payment can also be made (visa or master card only) and will be processed via JB Websites Limited. In default of payment, without any notice, arrears of up to 9% p.a. interest will be calculated. Collection expenses, plus any other charges shall be borne by the tenant. The Rental Payments are exclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes and duties or similar charges which shall be payable by the Customer at the rate and prescribed by law.
If any application, software or operating system is requested by the Customer and is to be included in the hire of the equipment or should the customer wish to install any application, software or operating system, then the customer must have a valid license or approval to install any such software. The Customer agrees to indemnify and keep indemnified from any loss or damage arising from or in connection with the installation or use of the software. gps-tracker-hire.co.uk and its parent company JB Websites Limited also assumes no responsibility, and shall not be liable for, any damage to, or virus that may infect, your computer equipment or any other property on account of you installing / downloading any applications or software.
Any change to the content of an order or contractual agreements must be agreed in writing. For example; should you wish to increase the number of devices or extend a hire period please put this in writing / email so we can confirm the request if we are able to do so.
